Tie 252

During the break, Golden Week, I went to a flea market, like last year. This year I decided to buy four ties. Here's the first one.

Tie 251

This took a while, I took the picture last month, before we had a break, but I guess I got too busy. The next day that I didn't have to work, I slept. I slept so very much. It was needed. I think I still more sleep and less days in the place. I guess this will be my last year teaching Saturdays. I'm so very tired.

Tie 250

I wore this tie Friday and Saturday. I finished my first full week of classes. I met all my students and they're all pretty cool. I'm learning some more lessons this year and can't wait to see what God does this year. I'm hoping to be better inside and out.

Tie 249

I wore this tie on the first Monday of the semester. I was so tired. Monday's are no longer my favorite day of the week, but nor is it the least. I think Tuesday is my least favorite. I have meetings that day. Anyway, I hope to find some joy in this semester, somewhere, somehow.

Tie 248

This is the second tie given to me.

Today was the first day of Saturday classes where I teach mostly older people who want to continue to learn English. It went well. I was worried, but I worried over nothing. My next worry is what I will do Monday with my elective class. Hopefully I can come up with something tomorrow. I didn't sleep well last night so I'll be sleeping more today, hopefully.

Tie 247

Yesterday was the first day of my fourth year teaching English in Japan. I was left a bag of ties in my mail box by another teacher who I made a baby blanket for. I think there are about four bow ties.
