Another fabulous tie from my wonderful boyfriend, makes that a total of three ties he has given me. I think people should start giving me yarn now. I have enough ties, maybe not enough for one a day for a year but pretty close. My summer vacation is almost over. I have one more wedding to go to and then I'm back home for a week of freedom before school starts. I hope you all had a fabulous summer, can't wait to see what the winter brings. Much love, K

Another great die from my wonderful boyfriend. So glad to have a supportive boyfriend of my weird but classy hobbies. I have to wait until Monday to see him though. I'll be finally home from my summer of travelling. This trip though was really good. After my night with my "older sisters" I finally got some direction as to where I am going. I may not have a clear answer but they'll develop as I pray and keep reading the bible. I do hope everything works out and I know it will because I trust in Jesus. Good morning ya'll. What a lovely day? Well yesterday was my lazy day but I finished the ninth book of the Daughters of the Moon series. Now on book ten. I do hope to finish that. I think I bought all the books with me but probably won't get through them all. I also finished a scarf and now working on another knit scarf. I think after that scarf I'll be done for here, if I finish it here. I think I won't. I need something to do on the bus ride home besides read. Today I plan to just visit my church, that's about it, unless someone decided to come and get me. Much love, K

So in looking at my facebook album and this blog, I realized that I missed a tie. This was worn way back on the 30th of July. Now all my numbers are all messed up, well i better get on that. Hey y'all! I bought this tie at Macy's in Flushing Queens when I was waiting for my boyfriend to get there. He took me to the Queens Botanical Garden that day, it was pretty cool. I love flowers and all that good stuff. If I can, one day I'd love my own garden. Also, today marks six months since my first date. I can barely believe it. I have been so happy and have learned tons in these last couple of months and can't wait to see what more great things God has in stored for us. Much love, K

Last tie in the batch. Really loved these. Wish I could have actually wore them. I shall though, once school starts I shall. I shall be known at the girl who bakes, crochets/knits and wears ties. Loving this tie. Just wish I had somewhere to go. I think I'll definitely wear this one again. It sucks when you have more ties than outfits to go with it. Unless I just wear black all day I probably won't wear some of these ties but I'll try. On a side note, that fashion show was crazy. There was a guy wearing an Ironman suit made of hair; so gross. But for today, I'm contemplating whether to leave my family and go hang out with my friend Jessica. I probably should do it now rather than later on in the week. Another fabulous day in Niagara Falls spending time with family and wearing fabulous ties. Just had a very fabulous breakfast and about to go to the store. Almost done with a scarf I'm making and trying to catch up on reading my bible. Last night was pretty cool too, went to Niagara Falls, the actual falls and went on a trolley. Then we got milkshakes later on that day. Have to say it wasn't as good as the Five Napkin one but up there with the other quality shakes. Glad to be spending time with family. Much love, K

Happy Anniversary to my good friend Kim and her bf Charles. Never thought we'd be as good friends as we are, so glad to have her in my life. Today I have no clue what I'm doing, probably some reading and crocheting. I just can't wait for Monday, I'm gonna go shopping for some yarn and see my friends and hopefully eat at one really good place called Buffalo Roadhouse. Wedding today. My friend Crystal got married to a guy named Peterson. He's funny looking but she's funny thinking. Don't tell them I said that. Anyway, very fun wedding, got to see some of my good friends. Got driven home by a creeper but he was nice. Cousin's said not to do it again and I don't blame them. Other than that I also got interrogated by my older spiritual sisters. They kinda made me feel terrible. I just hope I'm not making the wrong decision and that all will just work itself out, God willing. Oh and this tie is just fabulous. Love it! Much love, K

Happy Birthday to my best buddy Johnny (Miguel) Bravo. Love this dude, he's the bestest. However, he says he will never give me a tie. He has given me so much more and so many good memories. Another very good tie. On this day I got to do some cleaning. I helped out a friend and cleaned out her linen closet, small hallway closet and a little bit of her room. So very exciting, then we went to Ihop. A very fun way to spend a Tuesday. Much love, K

This is another tie from Tyrone. I have eight more to go. Right now I'm on my way to see my wonderful boyfriend. I miss him dearly. I just came back from a family reunion. It was weird in that we, my grandma, her nieces and their grandchildren, were from the first wife of my grandma's grand father and everyone else was from the second wife. What kind of family reunion is that. No wonder none of those people looked like me and they all had accents, mostly from the south, my grandma was born in Alabama. Anyway, I so did not enjoy myself and would have much rather had stayed home with the cat. Unfortunately, my week has been full of bad news. First one of my closest friends had to relocate because of some family drama and that just sucks because now to see any of my friends I'll have to travel an hour and a half to get to them and one has a baby, the other is my boyfriend. Other than that my sister is back, oh what have i done to deserve such a bad ending to a very good summer. Anyway, hope this next year of grad school goes smoothly. I'm trying to get out as soon as possible. Got big plans. Much love, K
